Sin

Ramen Lounge with an Asian Cyberpunk Vibe

On Jakobsbergsgatan, nestled between the massive complexes of Epi Center Stockholm and the Europahuset, an almost unremarkable entrance leads into the red-lit underworld of Sin.

Stepping inside feels like entering an Asian science fiction set, where you can savor fantastic ramen, Korean fried chicken, delicious gyoza, and the best bao burgers, complemented by Japanese IPAs and Far Eastern-inspired drinks.

The experience is made all the more enjoyable by a super friendly crew that adds a touch of playful lightness to the dark, almost shady atmosphere.

We could swear we descended an endless escalator deep into an abandoned subway station from a futuristic Tokyo.

Hypnotic red light installations flank the stairs leading us into the realms of Sin, creating an exhilarating illusion.

The cyberpunk art on the walls expands the space, and at the black round table in front of the vivid red curtains, we can almost see shifty figures playing Pai gow poker.

In contrast, the green bar radiates from the scene, evoking a nearly South Seas vibe.

We choose two seats at the bar and order the "Lucky Chicken" and "Lucky Dog" - Japanese pale ales in colorful cans that are fun to look at.

Watching our food being prepared, we learn that everything at Sin is homemade, from the broth to the noodles, from marinades to kimchi.

The ramen, Sin's signature dish, are named after four of the seven deadly sins.

Appropriately, we choose Gluttony.

This Shio Paitan ramen, made from white chicken and fish broth, is topped with 24-hour sous-vide pork belly and a 72-hour soy-marinated egg with black garlic cream.

The crispy chicken bao burger with perfectly seasoned homemade kimchi and coleslaw is just as outstanding as the pork dashi gyoza.

The glazed Korean fried chicken pairs wonderfully with the crunchy cucumbers in sesame dressing, and we can’t resist the sweet potato fries with Togarashi seasoning either.

Unfortunately, we have no room left for the homemade matcha ice cream after our indulgent feast, but we’re certain we’ll succumb to Sin’s allure more than once.
